OUR REGULAR ORDER SEASON IS NOW CLOSED. THE ONLY ORDERS THAT WE CAN ACCEPT ARE FOR THE "FALL COLORS CUTTING GARDEN" and "SUMMER CUTTING GARDEN" COLLECTIONS. THESE COLLECTIONS ARE DESCRIBED IN OUR CATALOG.

How to Order
To order directly from this web site click on any dahlia image to enlarge the picture. The enlarged image has a small icon that says "Add to Cart" that when clicked will place that dahlia into your virtual shopping cart. You can then return to the catalog and continue selecting. When finished with your selections simply click "Check Out" and you will be guided through a series of pages to provide shipping and payment information. You can also call us at (831) 722-9952 to place your order over the phone.

When to Order
We custom produce your plants, therefore your order must be received at least 6 weeks before your preferred shipping date. We produce a finite quantity for each week and must stop accepting orders when that number is reached, which is often well before the 6 week cut-off so don't wait too long!

Accepted Payment Methods for Online Ordering
We accept Visa and Mastercard, as well as payment by check or money order. All payment information is protected by a secure SSL encrypted connection.

To redeem a gift certificate you can place your order and then select "Gift Certificate" as your payment method during the check out. You can mail a check if the order exceeds the gift certificate value or we will issue you a credit for any amount less than the value of the gift certificate.

Book Orders
Books are shipped all year, separately from plants. They are shipped immediately upon receipt of credit card orders or after your check has cleared our bank. There is no minimum order for books.

Plant Shipping Dates
During the check out you will enter your preferred date. We strongly recommend you select a date that is after your last frost date unless you have a greenhouse or other protection. It is best to select a date closest to the time you will actually be planting your dahlias into the garden or pots. Dahlias can be planted from April-June in most parts of the country.

Orders are sent out on Mondays and arrive in the West on Tuesday or Wednesday; the Central US on Wednesday or Thursday; and the East on Thursday.

Plant Shipping Method & Costs
Domestic orders are shipped by U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail. The minimum shipping cost is $8.50. Orders that exceed this will be calculated based on actual weight. Most orders of 15-20 dahlias will cost in the range of $8.50-$10.00 for shipping. These are live plants so we go to extra lengths to insure safe arrival.

Minimum Plant Orders
The minimum plant order that we can accept is $30.00, not including tax or shipping. The minimum does not apply to book orders.

Discounts
We will give you a 10% discount on orders over $150.00, not including tax or shipping. This is automatically calculated during the check out. Gift Certificates, Collections and books are not discounted.

Cancellations
Orders cancelled six weeks before the shipping date will be refunded with a 10% handling charge. Orders cancelled less than six weeks before the shipping date will be refunded with a 50% handling fee.

International Orders
We cannot ship plants to E.U. countries at present. We cannot ship plants to Canada. Please contact us directly via phone or email to place your order. We grow all of our own dahlias and observe them throughout the season for performance and disease presence. We rouge virus infected plants and plants not performing up to standard.
We guarantee the dahlias we send you will be acurately labeled and certain to grow. If you are in any way dissatisfied notify us and we will promptly replace or refund your order.
